These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Real Estate Development Academy website, programs, and services (the "Service"), operated by East Coast Real Estate & Development, Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service provides real estate development education, including a free starter membership, a self-directed 240-day education program, project-specific advisory services, and private mentorship. Educational content is for general informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to create an account, and if you act on behalf of an organization you must have authority to bind it. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it updated, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service within your selected plan. You must not misuse the Service, including by: using it unlawfully; committing fraud or sending spam; infringing intellectual property rights; introducing malware or probing, scanning, or scraping our systems; reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service; or circumventing technical limits.
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, curriculum, workbooks, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Please also see our Refund Policy. Academy enrollment is a one-time payment; there are no recurring subscriptions. Refunds are available for 14 days from the order date.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your access to paid content ends; we may retain or delete account data as described in our Privacy Notice.
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including fraud, death, or personal injury).
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
